RFWRSTL Privacy Policy

RFWRSTL is the River Falls (WI) High School wrestling record book for iPhone. It is run by River Falls Wrestling. Questions: corby@rfwrestling.org.

What the app holds

The record book: wrestler names, class years, weight classes, match records, season history and team results. Most of it comes from the team's own records. Some wrestlers in it are under 18.

What we collect from you

• Browsing with the team code. One team code opens the book for the whole room. You enter the code. We do not ask for a name, an email or an account, and there are no viewer accounts.
• Signing in (coaches, and wrestlers who claim their card). We collect your email address to send you a one-time sign-in code. Nothing else is needed.
• What signed-in people do. If you claim a card, send a correction or, as a coach, edit the book, we keep that request, who made it and when. The record book keeps a history of who changed what, so a change always shows who made it.
• Photos. A coach can add a wrestler's photo, from the photo library or the camera. The app asks for the camera only when a coach taps "Take a photo". Photos are stored privately and shown only to signed-in team members.

What we do not do

• No advertising and no ad networks.
• No tracking across apps or websites, and no analytics that identify you.
• We do not sell or share your information.
• We do not show wrestler information to the public. Wrestler details, and especially anything about minors, sit behind the team code and sign-in.

Where it is kept

The book and sign-in records are kept with our hosting provider, Supabase, over encrypted connections. Sign-in emails go out from our own mail service. Neither is used for anything except running the app.

Deleting your account

If you signed in, you can delete your account yourself. In the app, tap the gear (Settings), then Delete my account, and type DELETE to confirm. This deletes your sign-in. Edits you already made keep your name, because the record book has to show who changed what.

If you want your name taken off past edits, or a wrestler's information corrected or removed from the book, email corby@rfwrestling.org and it is handled by hand.

A parent or guardian can ask us to correct or remove their child's information at any time by emailing the same address.

Children

The app is not directed at children and does not let anyone under 13 create an account. A wrestler's record is part of the school team's book, not something a child signs up for.
