Terms of Service

These terms cover buying anything from River Falls Wrestling Boosters, Inc. through this site: golf outing registration, hole sponsorships, raffle tickets, awards banquet meals and Buck Board entry. Using the site means you are alright with what is below.

Who you are dealing with

River Falls Wrestling Boosters, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-stock corporation registered in Wisconsin (Federal EIN 20-1236555), run entirely by volunteers. Our mailing address is PO Box 432, River Falls, WI 54022.

Payments

Every payment on this site runs through Stripe, on Stripe's own secure pages. Your card details are never entered on our site and we never see them.

The price is set on our end, not in your browser. You will always see the exact amount on Stripe's page before you confirm, and that is the only amount that can be charged. If what you see there does not match what you expected, stop and email us before paying.

Your receipt comes from Stripe. Keep it ... for sponsorships it is backed up by a separate acknowledgment letter from us, described below.

Refunds and cancellations

We are a volunteer booster club, not a store, and we would rather sort out a problem than hide behind a policy.

• Golf registration, hole sponsorships and banquet meals. If your plans change, email us. If we have not yet committed the money on your behalf ... ordered the sign, given the venue the meal count, closed the field ... we will refund you. After that we usually cannot, because the club has already spent it.
• Raffle tickets are not refundable. Once a ticket is entered in the drawing it is in play, and pulling it back out would not be fair to everyone else holding one.
• Events that we cancel. If the club cancels an event outright and cannot reschedule it, you get your money back. If an event is postponed or shortened by weather, your registration carries to the new date.

Raffle

Our raffle is licensed by the State of Wisconsin.

River Falls Wildcat Wrestling

• You must be 18 or older to buy a ticket.
• The drawing date, time, location, prize list and ticket prices for each raffle are published on our raffle page while that drawing is running, and those published terms govern it.
• You do not need to be present to win. Winners are contacted using the details given at purchase and are posted at rfwrestling.org.
• Prizes are awarded as described. There is no cash alternative unless the raffle page says otherwise, and prize taxes are the winner's responsibility.
• Board members and their families may buy tickets. Nobody involved in running the drawing knows which ticket is which when it is pulled.

What is tax deductible

We are a 501(c)(3), so contributions may be deductible ... but only the part you did not get something back for. This is what our sponsor acknowledgment letters say, and these terms will never contradict them:

• White Level ($100). No goods or services in exchange beyond recognition, so the full $100 may be deductible.
• Blue Level ($500). Includes one golfer entry, good-faith fair market value $125. $375 may be deductible.
• Gold Level ($1,000). Includes one golfer entry, good-faith fair market value $125. $875 may be deductible.

Golf registration, banquet meals and raffle tickets are not charitable contributions ... you receive a round of golf, a dinner, or a chance to win a prize in return for them.

We send a written acknowledgment for every sponsorship. Keep it, and talk to your own tax advisor about how it applies to your return ... we cannot give tax advice.

Photographs of wrestlers

We photograph wrestlers at practices, meets, banquets and club events, and we publish those photos on this site, on our social media, and in printed programs, posters and signage. Photos submitted to the Buck Board are published on the Buck Board page.

If you would rather a photo of your wrestler not be used, email boosters@rfwrestling.org and we will take it down. No explanation needed.

By submitting a photo to the Buck Board or any other form on this site, you confirm it is yours to submit and that we may publish it here.

Schedules, prices and results

Practice times, tournament dates, prices and rankings on this site are the best information we have when the page is written, and they change ... sometimes on short notice. Where a school or WIAA calendar disagrees with us, believe them. Nothing on this site is a guarantee that an event will happen as listed.

Links to other sites

We link out to USA Wrestling, the school district, tournament hosts, our photographers and our sponsors. What happens on those sites is their business, not ours, and their terms and privacy policies apply once you leave.

Fair use of the site

Do not use this site to break the law, do not submit anything that is not yours to submit, and do not try to interfere with the forms or the payment flow. We can remove a submission or block access if we have to.

Liability

Wrestling is a contact sport and our events are run by volunteers. Taking part in a club event is at your own risk, and participation is covered by the separate registration and waiver paperwork for that program ... not by this page. To the extent Wisconsin law allows, the club's liability for anything arising out of this website is limited to what you paid us through it.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin.

We update this page when what we sell or how we sell it changes. The date at the top tells you when it last changed.
