Season 26 — 27
Three awards · One photo · Open to all
River Falls Wrestling's deer contest. Biggest rack, smallest buck, biggest doe — one photo gets you on the board, all season long. Alumni, neighbours and anybody with a tag — and the proceeds go straight to Wildcat wrestling.
Four steps, one photo
One payment for the whole season — $10 Open, $5 High School and Youth — and your Buck Board card comes in the mail.
Any legal Wisconsin deer, registered through GameReg. Keep your confirmation number.
One photo: your deer, your card in frame, and the tape or the scale showing the number.
Upload it. You are on the wall the same day and on the board once we check it.
Three divisions, three awards each, top three in every award. Every award sponsored. Self-reported, checked before it posts.

The wall fills up the day the season opens. Be the first one on it.
$10 for the season, $5 for High School and Youth · sign up before you hunt · Sept 12, 2026 – Jan 3, 2027
Sign up once for the season. Entering a deer afterwards is free.
Wisconsin-tagged and lawfully harvested. Your GameReg confirmation number goes on every entry.
Register before you hunt. We cannot take an entry for a deer shot before you were in.
The numbered card we mail you has to be visible in the shot. No card, no entry — it is what keeps old photos out.
The tape across the rack, or the scale reading, has to be readable in the photo. One clear photo beats five pretty ones.
No high-fence deer, no pen-raised deer, no road kills, no deer you did not shoot.
A deer that takes an award is out of the running for the others. Enter as many deer as you legally tag.
Self-reported gets you on the board. Top three in each award bring the rack to the end-of-season wrestling banquet to collect.
Every award is decided by measurement. Nothing here is drawn at random.
Local businesses fund the prizes, so every dollar a hunter pays goes to the wrestling program instead. If you want in, get in touch.
