Three steps, one photo

How it works.

01

Shoot your deer

Get out there and get one. Register it like you always do. That is it.

02

Take one photo

The deer, and the tape or the scale where we can read the number. One good shot beats five pretty ones.

03

Enter it here

Free, takes a minute. You are on the wall that day, and on the board once one of us has had a look.

The Rules

Legal deer only

A Wisconsin deer, taken the legal way. That is the whole rule.

This season's deer

Any deer from this season counts, even one you shot before you got around to signing up.

Show the measurement

Get the tape across the rack, or the scale reading, into the photo so we can see the number. One clear shot is all we need.

Fair chase

No high-fence deer, no pen-raised deer, no road kills, no deer somebody else shot. And no, Jens, the house window is not a stand.

One award per deer

A deer that wins one award is done for the season. Enter as many deer as you want.

Skill, not chance

Biggest wins. Everything here is settled with a tape or a scale, and nothing is drawn out of a hat.

Sponsors

Put your name on an award

If your business wants in, we would love the help. We are after prizes for the winners, and honestly it does not much matter what they are. A gift card, something off your shelf, a service, a few dollars toward one. If somebody around here would be happy to win it, it works.

Your name goes on the award and on this page, and we will say so all season. Send us a note and we will figure out the rest ... no form, no tier chart, no meeting.
