Two things every wrestler needs

How registration works.

Both happen at USA Wrestling this season: our youth registration event for the program, and a USA Wrestling membership bought in your own USA Wrestling account. Every wrestler needs both.

  1. Register at our USA Wrestling event

Registration and payment run through our youth registration event at USA Wrestling. Pick one option per wrestler: Pre-K through 2nd grade is free this season, grades 3–5 are $140, and families whose registrations would total $200 or more choose the $200 Family Registration.

  2. Have a USA Wrestling membership

Every wrestler also needs a current USA Wrestling Athlete Membership ... it carries the insurance and the eligibility. It is USA Wrestling's own product, bought from USA Wrestling in your USA Wrestling account, not from us.

Practice location
River Falls High School wrestling room, 818 Cemetery Road Use the back entrance closest to the football and soccer fields.
Program fees
4K – Kindergarten — Free Once per week · 30 minutesGrades 1 – 2 — Free Once per week · 45 minutesGrades 3 – 5 — $140 Twice per week · 90 minutes Capped at $200 per family, with the Family Registration option Plus the $60 USA Wrestling card for every wrestler, bought from USA Wrestling.
Family volunteer commitment (grades 3–5)
Every family with a wrestler in grades 3–5 contributes 5 volunteer hours and $50 in concession items over the season; families who do not meet it are invoiced $200 the following season. Families whose wrestlers are all in the free 4K–2nd programs have no commitment this season. We email each family a running total mid-season ... ask youth@rfwrestling.org any time.

Every wrestler · bought at USA Wrestling

Have a current USA card.

Every wrestler needs a current USA Wrestling Athlete Membership. It is USA Wrestling's own product, not ours ... it covers the insurance and makes your child eligible for sanctioned events, and it is valid through August 31. We cannot buy it for you; you buy it from USA Wrestling, in your USA Wrestling account.

What’s included

  • Secondary sports accident insurance and supplemental benefits for non-sanctioned events, covering your child at practice and in competition
  • A one-year subscription to USA Wrestler magazine
  • Access to every USA Wrestling-sanctioned event, camp, clinic and club program nationwide

How to purchase

  1. Log in to your USA Wrestling account, or create one
  2. Buy the Athlete Membership for each wrestler

Already have a current USA Wrestling membership for your wrestler? Nothing more to buy.

Get involved with River Falls Wrestling

Looking to do more? Whether you want to save on fees or help shape the program, here is where a parent makes the most difference. If you qualify for a fee waiver, email youth@rfwrestling.org before you register and we'll tell you how the fee is handled.

  • Booster Club

Join the River Falls Wrestling Booster Club to get involved in fundraising, event planning and promoting wrestling in our community. As a thank-you for your support, we waive your child's wrestling program fee for the season ... email youth@rfwrestling.org before you register and we'll tell you how the fee is handled. The USA Wrestling membership is separate and is not something we can discount.

  • Coaching

Join the coaching team and your child's program fees are free ... email youth@rfwrestling.org before you register and we'll tell you how the fee is handled. Coaches are required to attend at least 70% of practices.
